Fic Recognition Meme - Stump the Author!

elrhiarhodanSo, a few weeks ago I ran a poll asking which meme I should do next. The one that got the most votes was the Fic Recognition/Stump The Author meme. Which happens to be one of my all time favorites, because it means I get to do both DVD commentary and comment fic.
1. Go through my Master List and pick out a sentence from one of my stories.
2. I have to guess what story it's from and I'll give you some backstory or DVD-commentary for the excerpt
3. If I guess wrong, you get to ask me for a drabble, prompting me wtih a situation and characters.
As a bonus, anyone who plays here and also runs this meme on their own journal will get a bonus drabble/ficlet.
I have nearly 300 stories on my masterlist, ranging from 100 word drabbles to 33,000 word epics. Do I remember everything I've ever written? Surely you jest! (And don't call you Shirley, I know, I know). Which means that you are quite likely to get a ficlet out of this, at the very least.
