A few friends of mine are hooked on Doc Martin and are in desperate need of the newest eps.  Does anyone know where I can get them?

The show is not my cuppa - particularly after I was forced to listen to it (and all the shrieking and screaming and seeminging idiotic plotcakes) for about 5 hours (long story, too boring to tell).  For the record, I generally dislike medical dramas (the early seasons of ER and the first season of Chicago Hope, and all of St. Elsewhere not withstanding).

So, if any of you have any idea where I can get them, I'll write a ficlet for you.  These are good R/L friends and I want to get them to STFU about this.

Many thanks.

FOUND! Thank you [livejournal.com profile] tj_teejay, [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 and [livejournal.com profile] photoash

My flist is TRULY awesome.

Does this help? Link (http://www.filecrop.com/search.php?w=doc+martin+s05&size_i=0&size_f=100000000&engine_r=1&engine_m=1&engine_h=1) Obviously it'll take some wading through the links, but with a download manager like JDownloader it gets easier.
EDIT: Link updated

Yeah, and some of the links won't work at all, I bet. Best of luck that your friend finds everything they need.

Ha, I never even read the part with the ficlet in your post. :-) I wish you could write me one for ReGenesis, but I think there's only, like, ten people out there who know the show, and none of them seem to be active writers.

Anyway... As for a ficlet, I really don't have any specific ideas right now. Let me put this on the backburner for a little while until I can think of something. And if I can't, that's okay too. :-)

ReGenesis is a Canadian show that ran for four seasons (from 2004 to 2008). Link you? Well, there's a trailer on YouTube that doesn't really say anything about the characters, though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mtn5l_jfb3M (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mtn5l_jfb3M) And here's a scene from a season 2 episode with David, Carlos, Mayko and Bob in David's (awesome) apartment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7noogzFJY8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7noogzFJY8) I wish they had the "Making of" clip somewhere because it gives a good introduction to the show.

Oh, I found the beaver balls clip as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7lN5drm4B0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7lN5drm4B0) (video quality kinda sucks, though) Oh, and this is kinda indicative for David's personality too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwM24ugy0WU (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwM24ugy0WU) Plus, Peter Outerbridge in boxers! (Okay, I'm gonna get off YouTube now.) What was kinda funny about that last scene in the hotel room is that David and Jill meet again later, and he goes: "I admire it, really, I do. Of course personally I'd rather put a bullet in my head than deal with all that bureaucratic bullshit-- How much of an asshole was I this morning?" And Jill goes, deadpan, "You were up there. Excuse me, Doctor."

Oh, and yay about the advent fic! I know what you mean, my fics tend to get longer and longer too. Just too many ideas in my head.

Torrents are the answer but they just need to be savvy about how to torrent and have adequate antivirus and antispyware/malware software running to help protect them.

http://isohunt.com/torrents/doc+martin?iht=-1&ihp=1&ihs1=1&iho1=d

you can also search using 'the pirate bay' but they seem more spyware/malware intensive and I'm at work so I am afraid to even visit the site it has NSFW content in ads.

Quick look shows they have most season 5 :)

Yeah, and basic knowledge about what a seeder and what a leecher is would also help. :-) I haven't really used torrents in a long time (mainly because that's easier to trace than http downloads like Rapidshare and the like), but when I was still doing torrents, I used to have Azureus as my client.

torrents aren't for the feint at heart as far as technology goes but really they *are* the answer for finding downloads unless you have access to locked archives/communities which I don't :) (though I'm so pissed I don't know how I'll find Ruby season 4 easily it's not seeded very well at all :( any ideas?)

I torrent all my television content for the past 8 years :) and as long as you're not torrenting movies or music you're usually okay <3

See, in Germany you hear these stories about the police turning up at your door with a search warrant for illegally downloaded stuff. A little healthy paranoia made me switch to the download portals rather than torrents, and if you know where and how to look, you can find almost anything that way too. (Except for ReGenesis seasons 3 and 4 in 720p, which aren't even available as torrents -- yes, I've tried.)

Other than looking for Ruby on the file portal search engines (filecrop.com, filestube.com, etc.) or just google for Ruby s04eXX rapidshare (or something like that), I don't really have any clever ideas. Sorry.

Uber late to the party, but just in case the other links fail, Blinkx Remote is fairly reliable (where I get WC shh!)

And the channel that shows DM has an iplayer, but I don't know if it'll work outside the UK:
