Count me in the minority who love where Peter and Neal's relationship is going right now. I agree that it felt really organic and appropriate after all they went through at the end of s4 and before the start of s5.
That final scene between the two of them in last weeks ep was fantastic. Peter was so conflicted, but committed to doing what he thought was best for both of them, and Neal was so hurt. TDK and MB were both brilliant.
And.... as to this lovely little tidbit. YEAH!!! I love the way you write Hughes. And, I thought the timing of this story, i.e. right now in canon, was perfect. It gave you a great way to bounce Hughes and Moz's reunion off of Peter and Neal's estrangement. Your respective on Neal's feelings was dead on.
