I've been in Canada, so I only just got to see the episode today. The story was meh, the banter between Peter and Neal was delightful, and Mozzie was MOZZIE. I enjoyed Hughes' bitching about the van, and I hope he continues to be in each episode. But! Jones and Diana were holding down the fort, but they barely had a role in this episode.
I bet Neal's description of Peter as "the man we all wish we could be more like" gave Peter a lot to think about, because it's not a stretch to assume that by "we all" Neal meant himself. (It's also ironic after Hughes expressed his concern that Peter might be losing "Peter Burke".)
I was glad to find out that Peter's not just a Special Agent, but a Special Agent In Charge. He certainly has enough responsibilities. Now I want to know Hughes' and Bancroft's titles.
I'm almost sad that Peter's already been freed from The Cave. Patterson was almost human in this episode, until Peter went off without an explanation before the work was done. I have sympathy for Patterson -- he doesn't seem to be an SOB, but rather a man who gets no respect for doing important work that requires intelligence and skill.
