I loved this ep so much, the parachute floating around lower Manhattan was more funny than annoying. I agree that Moz probably collected it and went along his merry way.
I also think you're completely right about blase New Yorkers who'd go, "what ev" and keep on going. We're a very phegmatic bunch these days.
