The rest of the week lacked the excitement of the first two days, and Neal was grateful for that. By Friday, however, it was clear that he wasn’t going to be an office favorite with anyone other than Agent Hughes. )

Bring Out Your Kink! Bring Out Your Pairings! - Calling for WC Fic Recommendations

This week, at White Collar Fixation, we ([livejournal.com profile] jrosemary, [livejournal.com profile] rabidchild67 and I) are running a Fan Fiction Fest, and it's my task to round up and present recommendations for kink (Thursday) and pairings (Friday).

Amazing how this plays into my strengths, isn't it!

Give me links to the kink and pairings fics and fanworks (vids, picspams, etc) that you would not want to be without if the Internet went dark. And remember, there is room for everything.

Keller Fest at White Collar Fixation

Over at White Collar Fixation, our favorite casually murderous con man, Matthew Keller has dropped by to answer all of your troublesome life questions in his new column, "Ask Uncle Matty".

He wasn't planning on making this a regular feature, but given the overwhelming response here at the White Collar Fixation vacation headquarters, the questions are pouring in (many by carrier pigeon). Matty has promised to answer as many as he can.

My Day on a White Collar Location

Check out my first report for the day I spent at a White Collar location shoot last week on White Collar Fixation

My deepest thanks to Willie Garson for his generosity and his kindness.

Thinky Thoughts on Seminal Scenes - Pilot (1.01)

Thinky Thoughts on Seminal Scenes is a series of essays, originally written for White Collar Fixation, that explores a specific scene or group of scenes in each episode of White Collar.  Sometimes I focus on a scene I like (most of the time), other times, I'll take a look at a scene that (to me) doesn't really work.

Because I am an orderly and (somewhat) organized type of person, I am beginning with Pilot and working my way forward, episode by episode.  I know that some of these scenes (particularly for Pilot) have analyzed to death, but I hope you find a nugget of something interesting and worth commenting on.

Cross Posting White Collar Meta Commentary

You all know I have this wonderful gig over at White Collar Fixation where the totally awesome lj user name=rosemary lets me riff on scenes from all of the episodes in a Tuesday feature, Thinky Thoughts on Seminal Scenes.

I'd like your opinion on something. Should I cross post those essays here too? Not immediately, of course - but a month or so afterwards? For example, if I were to start cross posting, I'd begin with the piece I wrote about Pilot (which was originally posted 5 weeks ago), and then move forward in order.

I know that there are a few members of my flist who regularly read and comments on WCF, so I don't want to spam my flist or the comms with materials that have already been read.

I am willing to take direction on this.

White Collar Fixation

I am a very, very lucky person - at least when it comes to the friends I've made this past year, here on LJ. Friends who've inspired me, given me strength when things have been rough, supported me when I've been down, cheered me on when I decided to write (and they continue to enable me, in all the best possible ways).

One of the most amazing people I've connected with is [livejournal.com profile] jrosemary. Not only is she an amazingly talented author, but she's super-smart, funny, insightful and one of the best people I know. She is also the creator and the powerhouse behind White Collar Fixation, the premier blog about all things White Collar. It's a place for happy squeefulness and deeply thinky thoughts, and discussions of some very serious issues.

It's also a place that's proudly respectful of all viewpoints, which is a hallmark of [livejournal.com profile] jrosemary herself. While the frontpage content is always family friendly, the blog is not shy about recommending all types of fan fiction, from Gen and Het to Slash and OT3. The range of recommendations on the site is breathtaking (and one of the real hidden gems of the WC fan community).

I am very, very proud to announce that I've been given both Moderator and Contributor status on White Collar Fixation, and I'll be cross-posting some of the content on my LJ to WCF and vice-versa.

This is a very, very happy day for me! Come visit WCF and share the love.
