Summary: Obi-Wan Kenobi has never known it, but he has always been the Force’s Champion, destined to suffer infinite sadness in defense of the Light. On his last turn on the wheel, responsibility for The Chosen One, the false child of prophecy, had been thrust upon him with no warning, and Darkness held the upper hand.

But this time, the Force has marshaled its power and will protect its Champion until the time is right, no matter how long Obi-Wan has to wait and how much he has to suffer.

Or,

Obi-Wan is reborn as a twelve-year old.

He wakes up on a slavers’ ship, with all of his prior life’s memories intact, and he’s bound for Tatooine with a Force-inhibitor collar around his neck, a bomb implanted in his spine, and no way of knowing what state of the Galaxy is in.

Just another day in the life of the Force’s Champion.

Chapter Summary: Qui-Gon is called to testify before the Senate regarding Naboo’s claims against the Trade Federation.

And once again, it’s been another slow week, just added 4k to the overall total. I am creeping up on the 300k mark like a sniper on their target. I should get there this coming week. Also, Q/O might actually consummate coming (!) week too, though I’m not 100% sure. We shall see. It’ll be close. There will be kissing. In Chapter 53. Which will be published in like four months.

Despite all of the action in this chapter, I don’t have a lot to say about it.

Obi-Wan, of course, shines. And I love how Dooku just follows along like a well-trained hound, until he’s required to exert his authority.

Komari is such a sick bitch. The sickest, evilest of bitches. I hate her so very much. And yes, she’s going to get what’s coming to her. Maybe it’s less than what she deserves. Or worse, depending on your point of view.

Does anyone want a spoiler for next week? Without revealing to much, I'm going to say that someone big returns to Coruscant from a long term assignment. We’ve seen him before and he’d played a critical role. I bet most of you can figure this one out, given what’s going on in this chapter.
