Ironically one of the other Alex alone stories I wrote had her being asked to fence Nazi gold...and she was going to refuse to, until she remember that she could use her contacts in the FBI to get the SOB. Her grandmother was a survivor.
How ironic that it turned out her grandfather was a mariner in the Third Reich.
