It was definitely a heartbreaking moment when Neal realizes that he hasn't had a moment with Peter where their just "friends" since Adler.
I have felt, since those last moments of UTR, that Neal would have turned the treasure in if Peter hadn't jumped down his throat. As well evidence by the 15k words or so of fic that I've written about this plotpoint!
