- That's it exactly. I got the impression that in canon it was just ignored that Neal wasn't the only one who had made a mistake so I was very glad to read a fanfiction in which Peter realized the role he played in it.
And finally, there is some honesty between them again. I loved the fact that even after Neal had done his lying by omission thing, he still told Peter the whole truth.
Speaking of lying by omission, this sentence was such a funny example of that: “Yeah - I may be able to track it down.” Track it down to the space underneath the loose floorboard in my closet.
